The first hole requires careful shots as it is a bit challenging with par-5 dogleg. The 16th hole is also a bit tough 287-yd par 4 with a three-tiered green flanked by a boulder- surrounded bunker. The 8th hole is beautiful which features a pretty lake and waterfall. This Ron Fream designed course had hosted U.S. open qualifying, the San Diego Qualifying and many local events.
